Terms of service
The rules that apply when you create or use a LearnWithMe account.
Effective September 11, 2026 · Last updated September 11, 2026
Agreement and eligibility
These terms govern access to LearnWithMe at learningwith.me. By creating or using an account, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. You must meet the minimum age required by applicable law and be able to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Accounts and administrators
You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Accounts may require administrator approval. If an organization provides your account, its administrator may manage access, roles, limits, and organization-controlled content.
Your responsibilities
You must follow the Acceptable-use policy and applicable academic, privacy, copyright, and recording rules. You are responsible for obtaining permission before recording people or uploading material and for activity performed through your account.
Learning and AI outputs
Transcripts, summaries, questions, answers, citations, and other generated content may be incomplete or wrong. Review important information against original course sources. LearnWithMe is a study aid; it does not replace instruction, independent academic work, or professional advice.
Your content and permission to process it
You retain your rights in content you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, process, transform, and transmit that content only as needed to provide features you request, maintain security and backups, administer the service, and meet legal obligations. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide the content.
Plans, internal credits, and billing
CAD monthly plans are Learner at C$15 and Master at C$30, plus applicable taxes. Paid plans renew automatically every month at the then-current subscription price until you turn off auto-renewal or cancel. Fees for an active billing period are non-refundable, except where required by law. Checkout displays the recurring price and requires affirmative agreement before payment. New free trials last 1 month from account activation. The free trial does not automatically convert to a paid subscription or charge you. Cancel online through Profile before renewal to stop the next charge; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Upgrades are prorated for the remaining billing period; downgrades take effect at the next renewal. Included credits reset at the paid billing-period renewal and do not accumulate. Purchased top-ups (400 credits for C$5, 800 for C$10, or 1,600 for C$20, plus applicable taxes) are one-time purchases, carry over between billing periods, and expire 12 months after purchase, including after cancellation. Top-ups are not available on Trial; upgrade to a paid plan for more credits. Credits bought under earlier non-expiring purchase terms retain those terms. Included credits are used first, then top-ups with the earliest expiry. Top-ups do not change plan features or course limits. Refunds required by applicable law are not excluded; refunded or disputed payments may result in corresponding credits being reversed. Your card issuer may charge conversion fees if your card uses another currency. Internal credits are a product usage measure, not money, and have no cash value. Provider-usage and cost figures shown in analytics may be estimates and may differ from third-party invoices.
Third-party services
Some features rely on third parties for authentication, payments, storage, transcription, document extraction, AI generation, or monitoring. Their availability and processing may affect the service. Your use of an optional third-party connection may also be governed by that provider’s terms.
Availability, changes, and termination
Features may change, be limited, or become temporarily unavailable. We may restrict or end access for security risk, non-payment, unlawful use, abuse, or a material violation of these terms. Pause is offered during subscription cancellation: payments stop at the end of the paid period and resume only with your affirmative agreement. Cancellation and pause retain saved work; deletion is a separate action in Profile, subject to necessary retention described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and responsibility
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, preservation of every recording, or error-free generated content. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LearnWithMe is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised date and provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after the effective date means the revised terms apply. Questions can be sent to contact@learningwith.me.
